Greetings to all parents of twins, triplets, and more!

Special Activities - There are special events through out the year: Children's Christmas Party, Parents Christmas Party, Spring Fling, Children's Halloween Party, Children's Fiesta Parade, PEP Halloween Parade, and a summer Ice Cream Social. Read the newsletter for specifics and let us know if you have any other ideas.

Newsletter - Our bi-monthly newsletter is entitled Gemini. It contains information about our meetings and special events, helpful hints for taking care of multiples, etc. In addition to the articles, there is a For Sale section to advertise items members have to sell. Articles, tips, and for sale items from all members are welcome and should be submitted to the newsletter editor by the 15th of the month prior to the mailing date.

Monthly Meetings - Meeting activities could be anything from clothing exchanges, scrapbooking nights, movie nights, and dinners at restaurants, to speakers and our bi-yearly pre-school panel. Since these are evening activities, children are normally left at home. The monthly meetings are informal social gatherings so parents of multiples can spend some time away from the house and the kids and get to know other POMs. Dads are always welcome.

Clothing Exchange - Once every three months the monthly meeting is a clothing exchange. The club has boxes of children's clothes sorted by size and you can go through the appropriate boxes and take what you want. There are usually clothes from newborns through toddlers, and there are many "twin" sets. Preemie & maternity clothing are sometimes available as well. You may donate your children's gently worn clothing to the exchange, but you are not obligated to donate clothing to the exchange in order to take clothing. There is never a charge.

New Parents Group - If you are an expecting parent of multiples, or if your multiples are not yet one year, this group is for you! It meets on the fourth Saturday of every month from 11am -1 pm and is designed so you can meet other parents dealing with the same things as you. The whole family is invited to come. (But please leave any sick children at home!!!) Share tips, stories, and laughs. If Dad can't come (or vice-versa), bring the kids and come anyway. There will always be plenty of helping hands. This group is a great way to meet people with multiples the same age as yours and is where many of our members make their closest friends.

Library - Books and pamphlets on pregnancy and childcare of multiples are available to check out. Contact the New Moms contact for availability.

Nation and Southern California Organization of Mothers of Twins Club - You are automatically a member upon joining SBPOM. You will receive National's quarterly newsletter "Mother of Twins Club Notebook."

Book Club - One of our most popular meetings is our monthly book club meeting. We usually meet for lunch the last Friday of the month. Once every three months we have a dinner meeting so more MOMS can attend. This is a great social event. Even if you don't read the book, it will feel great to get out of the house.

Website and email list - On this site you will find a description of the club, as well as contact information for the board members and the online application for joining the club. Non-members also have access to the Tips & Tricks page and the Exchange page. Both of these pages are incredibly useful. In the members only section, there is information about the upcoming club events, news about the newest members and latest births, a roster of the current membership including phone numbers and email addresses, information on the book club, a photo gallery, and a very helpful page of resources. In addition to the website, we also run an email list, parents@sbpoms.org, that goes to all members. After joining the club you will be added to the email list and we ask that you send an introductory email to this address, so we can learn a little about you. When you have your babies, please send another email out to announce the birth! This is also a great forum for sharing the news of your multiples' birth, asking questions, and sharing tips
